Application Process

Step 1 - Departmental Supplemental Application Documents

Unofficial Transcript(s) or Unofficial Transcript Evaluation

Spring 2018: Click HERE to access your supplemental Application.

Upload your unofficial transcript(s) or transcript evaluation, if they are available; this step is NOT required for FAU graduates.

If you only have an official copy of your transcripts or evaluation, please mail them to our office.

Unofficial TOEFL or IELTS Exam Score

Upload your unofficial TOEFL or IELTS score, where applicable and if one is available.

Letters of Recommendation

The supplemental application includes a "Recommendations" tab with space to enter two email addresses corresponding to your recommenders. If email addresses are entered, please notify your recommenders that they can expect a request from you - via email - containing a link to our database.

Alternatively, upload scanned letters of recommendation.

Recommenders should be academic (professor, instructor) or professional (colleague, manager, associate) and can be a subset of your references.

Official transcripts are REQUIRED for ALL colleges and universities listed on your bachelor's degree transcript.

Transcript Evaluation and Translation A transcript evaluation and translation to English is required if your bachelor's degree is from outside the U.S.

A course-by-course evaluation is required. • No GPA calculation is required.

Official TOEFL or IELTS Score

The TOEFL or IELTS exam is required for international students.

The minimum university requirement for TOEFL is 500 (Paper-Based Test) and 61 (Internet Based Test). The minimum university requirement for IELTS is a band score of 6.0.

FAU's school code for the TOEFL is 5229.
